Simon Stockhausen

For many years I've been creating fractal and other images for designing sounds from pixels. The fascination with composing pixels then transformed into an ambition to create standalone photo art detached from my sound design which would combine realism and abstraction, nature and futurism. So I bought professional camera equipment, learned more about photography and image post processing and started to print images on acrylic glass and publishing photos on my Facebook and Instagram pages. I also animated some of those images in experimental videos with music and sound design which you will find in this Youtube playlist.

In September 2021 I exhibited some of my works in the open-air group exhibition Waldszenen (Forest Scenes) on the estate of artist Volker Hamann in my home town Roesrath, view the video footage accompanied by some of my music in this Youtube video.

The images displayed in the above categories can be purchased as limited editions printed on acrylic glass or as individual photo books, all acrylic prints are signed, titled, numbered and dated (edition sticker) and have an aluminium frame attached at the rear for easy wall mounting.

Some images have special formats and edition numbers and are priced differently, the less prints of an edition are available the higher the price will be. Please contact me via e-mail for orders and inquiries, as soon as I have received your payment I'll place the order, the print will be delivered directly to your address and I'll send you the edition sticker.
The time span between ordering and delivering an image usally takes less than a week, special formats can take up to three weeks.
